Welcome to the 9th Grade Program Planning Page! Here we have resources, timelines, and other information that will assist you as you navigate through choices when selecting courses for C.B. South.

Timeline:
November 1st: MBIT Application goes live; Deadline is January 31st.
November 10th: Program Planning Assembly with Rising 10th graders, Unami Counselors & CB South Counselors
November 11th: MBIT Informational Assembly
November 20th: MBIT Open House at 6pm
Week of November 14th: Teachers make course level recommendations
November 19th: Optional MBIT Field Trip (see Student Services for Permissions Slip)
November 21st: Planning Packet emailed to all Rising 10th grade students and parents
December 1st-January 9th: Students request electives through Student IC Portal
Student Services will have open office hours to assist with course selection process
December 8th: Curriculum Fair at CB South for Rising 10th Grade Students
December 18th: CB South Counselors at Unami to provide a Q&A (Sign up in Student Services)
January 22nd-23rd: Unami counselors meet with students individually to review course selection
January 31st: Last day to apply to MBIT for 2026-2027 school year
February 13th-18th: Course selection posted on the parent portal for acknowledgment/verification
February 20th: Last Day to make course selection changes. No changes will be accepted after this date.
